The Farmhouse Restaurant?

What street is this restaurant on? What type of food do they serve and do they have that wonderful cobbler with ice cream on top that is so famous in Branson?

It's right on Main Street, just east of the intersection of Bus 65 and Hwy 76/Main Street. It's on the North side of the street. They serve good ol' fashioned down home cooking at fairly reasonable prices. My dad likes to go there when they're in town on a Friday or Saturday night as they have all-you-can-eat whole catfish. And yes, they are pretty well known for their cobbler with ice cream!!

Yanno, I never looked to see what street it was on. I think I just followed 76 to downtown and parked. It will be hard to find a place right by the cafe, we always parked down from the 5 and dime and walked up. It's not a long walk at all though. It is a wonderful little cafe. They have a pretty good salad bar too. I ate there a couple of times, but got to sample several dishes because my Mom and Wife always give me a bite or two of theirs. The fried catfish was good as was the chicken fried steak. I also had a ribeye I believe. The blackberry cobbler very good. If I could list just 1 place in Branson for you to try, this would be the one.

As the others said, the blackberry cobbler is great, however the apple dumpling with cinnamon ice cream definitely bears mentioning. It is awesome! Enjoy!

does it have a buffet? If so, what is on it? How does the catfish compare to Rails? do they serve liquor? I prefer to stay away from the places that serve liquor if I can.
Did I understand this correctly, this place is in the old part of Branson? I have never heard of it before.

You've never heard of a cafe that's been in one spot for more than 20 years?
It's downtown on a corner! Good classic food, not food that best for us maybe, but good food, period! We love the Cobblers & enjoy having Breakfast there from time to time!
It's on the same side of the street as Dick's .05 & .10 cent store.

Go for the apple dumpling with homemade cinnamon ice cream. It has become my favorite dessert.

We like to eat at least one breakfast there on our trips to Branson. Very reasonably priced.
