Dueling Piano Bar

Is the dueling piano bar still at the landing? I thought I heard it closed. Are there any other night life type places you would recommend? My daughter wants to take her new husband to Branson in October and this would be something he would enjoy.

If smoking does not bother you, Cheeky Monkey is the place.
Live music or karaoke, ladies night, a friendly welcome, and free shot of "Monkey Fuel" when you come in.
Plus some pretty good food to boot.
Great place.

Yep,,,,Cheeky Monkey is it, now. Only thing to know your first time is, it is OUT of town a few miles...so prudence would dictate you Uber/Lyft there...so you won’t be tempted to drive your own car back into town at the end of the night...that was a plus with the old Ernie Biggs Dueling Piano Bar at the Landing...if needed, after a night of partying there, you could always, walk, stagger, or crawl to your room if you were staying at either the Hilton Promenade or Convention Center...no need to drive/ride anywhere...ah...those good old days!

Where I agree that Uber is certainly a good idea, the location of the Monkey is more like a few yards out of "town". Miles from the Landing, yes. But not everybody stays in the hotels in Branson Landing.
Just making the point so the OP doesn't get the idea that going to the Cheeky Monkey is some sort of road trip.

From the more or less de facto center of town...the Titanic Museum..it is 3.4 MILES to the Cheeky Monkey...for a total of 5984 yards...slightly more than “a few”...

I thought "out of town" was when you leave the boundary of the city, not when you leave the center of it. So you're out of town if you're still in town, but a couple miles away from the center of town.
Kinda like saying the starting line on a race track is behind the last row.
But anyway, my point was that going to the Monkey isn't some long road trip "out of town".

I think the main fact about being "out of town" is that it is out of city limits. They are just on the other side of Fall Creek, on 165, on the east side.

BUT by being out of town, they dont have the NO smoking Nonsense that "in" town does have.

Something new coming that might also interest them.
Opens September 9 2019
Billy Yates Choice Concerts.
"Dining, dancing, concerts, and more"
"Food, drinks, and live music"
Sounds pretty i teresting, and a great alternative to theater shows.
