Salvation Army Thrift Store Closing

The Branson Salvation Army Family Thrift Store is closing for good. Looks like their last day is going to be Dec 11. I really hate to see this happen. Times getting tougher due to more lockdowns, which leads to layoffs or hours cut, people need this type of store to survive. I have donated things from time to time over the years to this facility. The people who run it/work their are super good people, imo. Plus, of all the various charities, the Salvation Army is in my top 2. The reason given for this closing is simply, expenses are going up far more than income is being generated. It is, after all, a business, with the same business economic rules as any other business. Really sad that Branson, along with area people in need, are losing this charity.
