I am not at all surprised something like this came up,, Surpeised RFD would let the theatre go at all.

See what happens next.

Stay Tuned:

Could it be somewhat possible that if RFD would have paid their bills the foreclosure would have never happened in the first place?
Kinda what I would tell them if I were the judge hearing their request.

It's too bad that RFD-TV (or whoever the actual owner was/is) didn't do a better job of marketing things there. They have lots of shows on their network that could have played there, but they only did that one or two years. I like the theater too because the stage is low and all seats are good, though the parking lot is a bad one.

This is my white flag waving my surrender on the info regarding the theater. My final comment on the foreclosure - It seems utterly ridiculous that a seemingly successful company with a successful tv network would allow this foreclosure to happen.

Rfd

When we were there for 2 years we had no issues with the owner or management, probably because we paid our rent on time.... I'm very surprised by these developments!!!

(The purpose of the notice of lis pendens is to inform the public that a lawsuit involving the property is pending.)
So let me get this right. A business doesn't pay it's bills, the property is foreclosed on, then the people who weren't paying their bills in the first place file lawsuit to keep the property they owe someone money on.
Wow, if that worked with cars I'd be driving a new Mercedes every year!

Eight exhibits filed by RFD-TV THE THEATER, LLC yesterday.
What exhibits, cows, pigs, chickens, tractors? How about receipts, and check stubs showing they paid their bills.
Still don't get how you can suit somebody for filing suit against you because you didn't pay your bills.
