Good question I wish I had the answer for, but there's a TON of them on Branson related FB pages.

As a show owner, quite honestly... every show in this town should be setting an EXAMPLE for everyone else. If a show stays open, it’s saying it’s okay to get out and about for entertainment, when unless it’s crucial you should stay home. Regardless of any precautions they take, the message from shows should be “stay home.”

If a show encourages someone to go out of their home to see them by staying open, that person may inadvertently touch a surface at the gas station where they get gas on the way to a show. The next person getting gas may touch that surface , get infected and spread the infection to others. This is how things spread. It’s not just about precautions you take at your theater... it’s about encouraging people to go out AT ALL.

When the CDC says shelter in place - offering entertainment is negligent.

Who needs a job when they are dead from Covid-19.

Sorry to be so blunt, but seriously - why did it take Branson so freaking long to determine they should protect their city???

You would think Branson would be right on the ball, with this, given the fact that a lot of visitors are up there in age and have other health issues.

Yes, there is. All but businesses deemed “essential” are shut down. But it went in to effect after this thread was started.
