Christmas Trees

I've been a member for a while & we just moved into Kimberling City. I'm wondering about getting a Christmas tree. Are there real ones available as we get closer to the season? Are there stores that carry artificial ones?
Thanks for your help.

Well you can get real ones anywhere, they have lots all over by the side of the road, or places you can cut your own. They have alot of "scotch pine" which goes for pretty cheap, but I never cared for those, they are really poky! You can even get real ones at Home Depot. They'll have them out some time next month. If you are getting a real tree, don't do it after a snow, it's a mess! I love the smell of real trees!

Real trees can be found at Lowe's, WalMart, and even the grocery stores. WalMart and Lowe's also carry artificial trees. Some churches and non-profit organizations also set up Christmas Tree lots around Thanksgiving.

There's a Christmas Tree Farm on Hwy 160 towards Springfield if you want to go cut your own, or you can get a permit to cut one from certain areas from the Conservation Department.
