Good afternoon!
Tuesday, November 7, is the election day to renew the TCED Tax.
This isn’t a new tax… it’s a renewal. Visitors are the ones who primarily pay this. It’s a tax that applies to: Shows, Attractions, Hotels, Restaurants, and shopping.
It doesn’t affect things like: groceries, gas, utilities, cable, cell phones, etc……
This is the only item on the ballot. It will be easy for folks to not see the need to vote or think their vote doesn’t count. EVERY VOTE COUNTS.
Tourism is the engine which keeps Branson going. Because of tourism, people have jobs, and it brings visitors to Grand Country/Branson.
Please take the time next week, if you qualify to vote on this matter, to get out to the polls.
