Branson Mom said recently that it wasn't open yet. If my mind serves me right, she said it was going to be somewhere near Starlite theater but please don't quote me because I also heard in the old Gotcha Lazer Tag as well. I hope someone knows exactly because we enjoy these places as well.

The American Presidential Museum is listed in the Membership Index of the 2002 Branson Vacation Guide. The address is 3107 W. HWY 76, Branson, MO. Phone #417-334-8683. It also lists a website www.americanpresidentialmuseum.com but that address is currently under construction. Hope this helps!

So, maybe, the Presidential Museum is also still under construction? Branson Mom, can you drive by and check it out for us?
Branson also has the Veteran's Museum and didn't I hear that the Roy Rodgers Museum is going to relocate to Branson? Suselit |

I drove by the Presidential Museum last week and it wasn't open yet. I believe it is scheduled to open in mid April. I'll find out for sure! It is located at the former Gatcha Laser Tag Location, behind the Starlite theater, across the street from the Howard Johnson's hotel, If I remember correctly, one of the 50's shows was also at this location several years ago. They are doing some construction there, but alot of it was done last fall. They had a preview of it for residents, but we missed it.
According to an announcement made by Mike Radford the day we attended his show. The Roy Rogers museum will be moving to Branson, but I don't know any details. Mike said that he had just gotten off of the phone with Dusty(Roy and Dale's son)before the show and got the news! If I hear anymore, I'll be sure to post! Hope this helps! |
