“Beyond The Lens” a rebranding & Change

BRANSON, Mo. — A Branson attraction is making a branding change to give you a better idea of what it has to offer.

You may remember, we told you “National Enquirer Live” was set to open in Branson.

Now the company is opening an attraction called “Behind the Lens.”

The general manager calls it “technology-driven fun,” and says it’s different than anything else Branson has to offer.

The website for “Beyond the Lens” promises an exploration of pop culture, through interactive games and exhibits.

General manager Renee Johnson says the change came after “National Enquirer Live” opened in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

“What we found, as we opened Pigeon Forge, is that there was a real disconnect between what people expected to see when they stepped in, and what they thought they were going to see on the street.” Johnson said.

“Beyond the Lens” will offer a sneak peek this Friday and will open to everyone this weekend.

The building was looking pretty good as I passed by this weekend. I'm excited, and anxious to see something new, and interesting in Branson.

The outside signage Enquiring minds want to know, will lose a few people.

I noticed this evening while driving by the Beyond the Lens attraction the enquiring part of the sign was gone off the building. Not sure if it is being replaced with something else, being repaired or something else. Anyone know how the opening went?

I believe "enquiring" was replaced with "OMG - people want to know". Same concept, but not the same connection.

I'm with you on this one rjw! I was pretty vocal about my disdain for the original concept and name. But after seeing what it REALLY is all about, and with the name change, I'm actually excited about getting a chance to check it out for myself.
