Retirement communities
Looking for a retirement community, not assisted living. Coming to Branson this year and would like to check some out.

Siena at Branson Hills, the Villas at Branson Hills, Cozy Cove are some of the ones that might be considered retirement communities. Here's a link to more info.

Just west of the Rec Plex in far north BTown there is a new development being built by the Branson Hills folks. I believe their sign says it will be a 55 plus community.
It would help to know what you would like in a community such as lots of golf, close to water, condos, strict over 55 rule etc.

Retirement Communities
After I had posted, I realized I didn't add too much to my question. Neither of us are golfers, so it doesn't need to be near a golf course. We already have a townhome, so don't want another one. If there is like condo's with other seniors living there, exercise room, activities for each day - maybe a dining room - possibly a guest type room if someone is visiting. We do have a car, but if there was a bus that would take folks shopping or to shows, etc. We are both in good health, do not use walkers, go to the "Y" 4 days a week, but also have a recumbant in our basement. If, because of weather, we can't walk outside, we go to a Mall or large store and do our walking. Hope this helps. Thanks so much for the info given.

Here's an article from last summer that talks about a future retirement community in place of Yakov's theatre. I really haven't heard much since then.
Will it come to pass? Like Yogi said, Predictions are hard, especially when they involve the future. ![]() http://bransontrilakesnews.com/news_...3f5e2600a.html . Also, here's a thread that discusses the project and more. lots more. http://www.1branson.com/forum/showth...heatre+closing

Summit Ridge
The community I mentioned in post #3 is called Summit Ridge.
The website below gives a pretty good overview of what it is all about. https://www.hcwdevelopment.com/project/summit-ridge
