Presleys' cast questions

Just watched a new episode of Presleys Country Jubilee on RFD-TV. Noticed that Brian Nolf is now playing bass. When did he join the show?

Also, for some songs Dean Holman was playing steel guitar but for other songs it was another man who played steel guitar or banjo. He wasn't given a credit at the end of the episode. Was just wondering who he is.

I’m also wondering who the other man is; he looks very familiar. I went to the Presley’s show four times in 2017, and he was never in the live show those times. I’ve only seen him on the TV show.

I may be wrong but I think the man playing the steel guitar on last night's tv show is the man who now owns the Branson Craft Mall. I'm sorry I don't know his name but had a conversation with him in October when we were in Branson. I recognized him from years past when he used to play for Roy Clark and he said yes, he played for Roy for 17 years. Also at that time he mentioned that Steve Presley was trying to talk him into coming on the show since their (Presleys) current fiddle player was leaving.
He's a very nice gentleman. I also looked for his name in the credits at the end of the show but they didn't list him.

His name is Mark Pearman, and yes, he owns Branson Craft Mall.

Cortlandt was in the various segments of last night's TV episode and his name was still in the credits.

Thanks for the info, GNEE and OKCTraveler, on Mark Pearman.

As I mentioned Brian Nolf is now playing bass. When did he join Presleys and has he played elsewhere in Branson?

Although he didn't mention him by name, he did say that the fiddle player is leaving in 2018. As far as the tv show goes, I've noticed they break up their segments in some past shows and then some are current. Last night they made reference to Harvey Weinstein in the comedy spot so that was current and that was the segment that Mark Pearman was in.
I'm thinking that the older segments that Cortlandt Ingram was in is the reason he was listed in the credits but then they probably should have also listed Mark Pearman in the credits. But what do I know, just observances on my part.

I believe I am correct in saying that the TV show is recorded during the daytime, with no audience (or almost no audience) present. The audience applause, laughter, etc., is canned. It is likely that the show's regular band members are not always available for the taping sessions.

First reply:

Thank you for watching us on RFD-TV...we really appreciate it!

Our steel guitar player is Dean Holman. He is a great entertainer and we love having him on our show.

Please keep watching us and if you can, come and see us in Branson!

Thank you,

Follow-up:

He (Mark Pearman) might have filled in a couple of times, but he is not our regular steel guitar player. He will be playing the fiddle for the 2018 season.

Follow-up follow-up:

Yes he is replacing Cortlandt.

Well, that answers that.
