Question Christmasie Restaurants

We are looking for a restaurant to have dinner at tonight that is decorated for Christmas. My mom really wants to go someplace that is Christmasie...maybe has a fireplace… Where in town would be good for this?

The Keeter Center at College of the Ozarks has a fireplace in their Dining Room.
The campus is worth a drive through, too.
And they serve wonderful fresh food.

Yes, it is hard to get more "Christmisie" than Chateau on the Lake! Such fun to walk around and observe all the decorations; this years Gingerbread Houses are the most elaborate ever, IMO. While not having a fireplace in the dining area, they do have one in their lounge, with christmas trees and decorations surrounding it.

Also, Dogwood Canyons Mill and Canyon Grill restaurant is very "Christmasie", lovely setting over the Indian River...and has a fireplace to boot! Also some neat things on their menu, such as Elk sausage and potato soup; Bison Burgers; Elk Bratwurst; Chili made with a mixture of Elk and Buffalo that have been raised on the premises of the property; Trout, Catfish, Ham, Pork, Chicken, and Beef burgers; and some vegie items as well. More of a lunch type place, rather than dinner, as they close at 4pm daily. But pretty cool anyway! They used to offer a special nightime "Christmasie" Tram Tour, around the property up to their adorable chapel, then around and back again...not sure if it is there this year, as I have not been yet.

Cannot omit Top of the Rock, both restaurants, Arnies Barn for fine Mexican good, has a fireplace also. And the Osage Restaurant, just a few feet away, for fine dining, outstanding atmosphere, several fireplaces, etc. Nice and "Christmasie" this time of year. Still my favorite place to eat, relax, and just enjoy being alive and taking it all in!

College of the Ozarks, specifically Dobyns Dining Room, as mentioned above, is always first rate, and superb, Fireplace, live piano music sometimes, and the nicest "student" wait staff!

White River Fish House, on Lake Taneycomo at the Landing, has a nice fireplace, and decorations for Christmas.

Not sure of your budget, but the Cracker Barrel has a large fireplace,,,get their a little ahead of the crowd and ask to be seated close to it...their gift shop is filled with "christmasie" doodads...

Ye Old English Inn in downtown (old town) Hollister is decorated nicely, and has a fireplace that is sometimes lit!
