Already planning to stay home. We will have the granddughters that day, and the 6 YO thinks it will be cool swimming in the pool when it gets dark.

I'm not traveling to see it, but many apparently are. 2m37 seconds total eclipse in Columbia MO, where they are anticipating a 4 fold population increase for the day. My son/dil are hosting their siblings.

August 21 is also the first day of class for the fall semester at MU - students have been encouraged to arrive early, and that going home for lunch will not be an option.

We plan to be sitting in the middle of table rock with cameras, bunches of snacks and whatever else. Really curious how many others have the same plan. Picked out the spot today. Got it marked with a big X on the side of the boat.
