Davis, President of College of the Ozarks, being honored for his service to his country in WW II, where he spent 47 days on a life raft in the middle of the Pacific becoming a POW who was singled out for torture because of his prominence as an Olympian in the 1936 Olympics, and his service to God and humanity as a missionary of Gods love and forgiveness. |
