Year 'round Christmas shopping in Branson

My mom and I have always shopped for the holidays while in Branson each June. Anyone else do this??

We don't live close to any outlets or to the Disney store...so we have so much fun shopping for the kids while we are there! My mom also gets the adult kids' presents at the craft malls too!

As far as shopping for decorations goes:

We like to have the kids each pick out an ornament for the tree when we're in Branson. We're developing a collection of ornaments for each of them that way that they can take with them when they're old and grown like me!

I also love to shop the village sets at Kringles. I'm pretty much out of space though, so that's usually just "window" shopping these days.

There are a couple of stores where I like to purchase gifts for our daughters. But, I can' keep a secret so it's hard for me to buy 'early' and keep the items till Christmas. Right now I have an item 'tucked away' for one of the girls' birthday, which isn't till September, and I'm 'dying' to give it to her, but HE won't let me!

I shop for Christmas gifts all through the year. Most of the items I buy, I get in Branson as I have more time to shop there than when I am working in KC.

I do not like to shop in crowded stores. By getting my Christmas shopping done early, I can go into the stores after they are decorated for Christmas to see all their Christmas decorations, without standing in long lines or buying things that are getting picked over.

Many of these gifts are used for birthdays, anniversaries, etc etc
