The City of Branson, along with the Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau, is preparing for Branson’s 70th annual Adoration Parade, Sunday, December 2 at 5:30 p.m.

It starts with the annual lighting of the largest area nativity scene, overlooking Lake Taneycomo at dusk and culminates with a parade. On this special night, the community comes together to honor the story of Christmas.

Branson Police urge extreme caution while driving downtown due to the high volume of pedestrian traffic.

Here is what you need to know:

Drivers should expect traffic delays and some road closures downtown beginning at 3:30 p.m.

All roads along the parade route will be closed by 5:00 pm.

Access to the Branson Landing will be available during the parade at the far North and South ends, however, there will be no through traffic on Branson Landing Blvd.

Police will assist with traffic direction at the conclusion of the parade but drivers should expect heavy, slow-moving traffic.

The parade will begin at the Branson Convention Center and continue North along Branson Landing Blvd until it reaches Commercial Street where it will turn left and head south down Commercial Street back to the Branson Convention Center.

Please join us along Commercial Street, College Street, Branson Landing Blvd, East Long Street (between Sycamore and Branson Landing Blvd), and Sycamore Street (between College and the Branson Landing parking lot).
