It wasn't the big outdoor-theater site behind Promised Land Zoo, though. It was located north of the Presely's Theater in the approximate area where the log-cabin condos are now located. It was a smaller venue and performed as a passion-play about the life of John the Baptist. It did include a scene of the crucifiction of Jesus as well. This production ran a short time (1984 / 85 as I temember) before low attendance brought it to an untimely end. When I saw it, (Labor Day 1985) the owner was there, personally greating each guest when they came through the gate! It wasn't near the size of The Great Passion Play in Eureka Springs, but a neat little production none the less.
