Scooters Sports Bar

Scooters is the 19th Hole for a mini golf course. The owners are a very pleasant couple who welcome you in the Branson tradition. They acted like I might be their last customer. Scooters is clean, friendly and comfortable. I had the angus burger and onion rings. Very good. I put hamburgers in the 10-80-10 rule. Eighty (80) percent of all bar and grills can make a good hamburger. The bottom ten should serve hot dogs. Scooters is in the upper 10 percent!!! I have no complaints about Scooters just observations. If you are looking to sit at a bar, have a craft beer in a cold mug and watch a big screen TV, Scooters ain't your place. There is no bar. There is only bud and bud light on tap and no big screen. But, if you want a nice place to eat a burger, watch a game and be able to hear the person next to you, I recommend Scooters!!

Yup, tried it last time I was in Branson. "Sports Bar" is definitely a stretch. Actually "Sports" and "Bar" are both a stretch. But great burger and sandwich place that has draft beer available is spot on.

BTW Fly, have you been beating the water below the dam since the lake level has been good for fishing up there?

Scooters

I haven't gotten below the dam since Memorial Day. I have been fishing the Trophy Run stretch. Last weekend was a little slow for me. But, I rarely fish midges. I usually stick with streamers. Sometimes I see fellows using midges and just nailing it, but I stick with streamers.

From the reports I have seen from the buggy whip crowd, it scud flies, scud flies, and scud flies.
From a boat, and with spinning tackle custom painted stick baits, and crank baits from guide Duane Dotty have been tearing up big fish.

Yes, NOT a sports bar for sure,

Hey RJ? did you have a beer? How was it, Pitcher? full? price?

Last time I was there, the pitcher was only about 3/4 full and seemed pricey.??

No, just stopped in for lunch on day. Kinda remembering the beer price seemed a little high, but wrote it off as just being Branson.
Also thought I saw just one choice. Busch I think.

I thought it was pricey also at the time, and then the pitcher came out on the weak side of 3/4 full. that was enough to discourage me from going back. Seems to me the service was a little slow and the sandwhiches were.... just sandwhiches..

I didn't have any complaints about the service, and the Reuben I had was the best I've had in Branson since Chester's:cryingbuckets::cryingbuckets: closed.
