Branson was booming last night!

I decided that since I really didn't have anything to do last night that I would drive to Branson and see again the Hot Rod's and Hairdo's show at Silver Dollar City. I arrived around 5:00 and went and got something to eat in the new restaurant they have this year called the Wagon Works Grill. I had a smoked turkey chipolte wrap. It was yummy!! In addition to the turkey wrap they also have a bbq wrap, a veggie wrap, and I don't remember what the other one was. They also have other food as well. The restaurant has different period decorations everywhere that looks great.

Hot Rod's and Hairdo's had a pretty good crowd for being a Thursday night. I posted earlier in my first review of the show that I thought the sound was too loud so this time I sat farther back and the sound was just right. I encourage those going to SDC to take advantage of this FREE evening of entertainment. For those that do not know anything about this show, it is a show that is completely 50's and 60's music. The show contains sets, costumes, comedy, singers, and dancers. It begins at 7:00 and will last for little over 90 minutes. It is WELL WORTH your time!

After the show was over I headed down to Branson just to look around and enjoy all the people. For a Thursday night the place was happening! I arrived while the shows were in session so it gave me a chance to go and check some of them out to see crowd numbers. I don't think Ray Stevens could fit one more car in his parking lot! ALL of the golf, bumper boats and race car places were hopping. The safari golf place ( I don't know what the place is really called) across from the golf place with the airplane, LOL even had several people there and I hadn't seen that in a while. The traffic was at a standstill at about the time the shows were letting out, I probably only moved two car lengths in 30 mins. there by the Grand Palace. I enjoy rolling my window down and listening to everyone else play their radios and visit while going down the strip. Everything looked to be in full swing!
