Branson resident and international entertainer Jimmy Osmond has announced that the “Country Tonight “ show will be relocating to what is currently called the Jimmy Osmond American Jukebox Theatre, effective Jan.1
During an exclusive interview, Osmond said he is taking a breather and working on something new for next year.
“I am taking a breath from doing 350 shows a year, which is what I have done for the past 12 year,” Osmond said. “That’s a lot of show –and, I want to continue to bring new shows to town. I’ve been blessed by other shows that I have helped. Also, I wanted to tell everyone that the Chateau on the Lake is allowing me to transform their Grand Ballroom into a theater for Christmas shows starting Nov. 1, 200f. It will be a new Christmas experience at what I think is the most spectacular setting.”
Although this new project is a huge undertaking. Osmond said the formation of this new Christmas production has not put an end to the” American Jukebox Show.”
“I love our show. It’s working and I love the people I work with,” he said. “But I have offers so take the American Jukebox Show to Blackpool England for a period of time and right before Christmas we are performing on a cruise. So the Jukebox show will continue and we will be back, hopefully full-time in 2005.
