Question Sign near Jesse James Motel? 1960's

Looking at an old pic - On the same side of the street there is a sign that possibly has a bird on it. And across the street from that is a sign that seems to start with an R and ends with an S. Just curious, anyone know what those were?

And here is one of your old threads about the place:

Also, have you asked for info at the White River Historical Museum downtown?

These pics don't show the rest of the street in the area like the one I have. And you mentioned the White River Historical Museum. Haven't thought about that for a long time. We should should check back in there again soon.

If you upload the picture I know several old timers I could show it to that might know what it is.

It's actually in one of those books of history that can be picked up around here. (Branson-A Time Line History pg. 27 by Jerry Madsen).
I'm sure you "old timers" could help! A few years ago you told me where the sightseeing tower (on 248) had been that was on an old postcard that I came across.

And since I have you, can you tell me where the Wild, Wild West Theater was? It's listed as 1996 in the time line but no picture.
Thanks!

I know you didn't ask me but the Wild, Wild West Theater was on Gretna Rd just past the Titantic and on the same side of the street. I think it's a Motel 9 that sits next to it.

The Braschler's was the 1st show we attended in that theater. We did see Sunny and the Wild, Wild West show there a few years later - and the 1996 time frame would be about right for what I remember.

Hi guys! So that's where the Road to Rock had also been? We hadn't seen that show but I think it was there when we first started coming back to Branson - and we now have a friend that used to be in that show.
