cobbler

Can someone tell me where to get the best homemade cobbler (any flavor) near the 76 strip?

Sugar Leaf Cafe
2800 West 76 Hwy
417-336-6618

All of their cobblers are homemade and they are delicious.

Some of the varieties they have are apple, cherry, peach, gooseberry, rhubarb, blackberry and some sugar-free ( or at least lower sugar) cobblers.

They make all of their bakery items from scratch. Another favorite is their chocolate chip cookies when they are warm from the oven.

Had peach cobbler there in May! The only negative was I had to share with DH!

Sugar Leaf.......

We've never had anything bad from there. We love to get a piece of cake, pie, or cobbler, and take it back to the resort for our evening treat.

Vickie, I shared that negative on my last trip there when I shared a rhubarb cobbler with Ted. Sharing is okay at most places but at Sugar Leaf you look forward to every bite.

Did you say RHUBARB? As in just rhubarb without being diluted with strawberries?
Seems most places ruin a good rhubarb pie by adding strawberries.

Yes Sir,

Just plain rhubarb....no strawberries.

And, it was great.

All the times I've been to Sugar Leaf, I somehow missed out on the cobbler! I've gotta rectify that this next trip!

I can vouch for their tarts though!
