She is gone!

On Sunday November 23rd I lost my bride of 56 years. She broke her hip 7 years ago, and has had has trouble ever since. Years of pain with little relief. She developed other problems that lead to her passing.

We both loved Branson, making over 30 trips there. Several years we went 3 times.

I could have never asked for a better wife, and both of us did things for each other.

Blessings and condolences to you. I pray that my wife (of ONLY 20 years) and I can one day look back on 50+ and feel the way you do.

Condolences and prayers sent your way.
After losing my 2nd wife of 28 years in 2010 to pancreatic cancer I believed my life would end. It finally dawned on me that I was grieving for myself and that her pain & suffering was over.
I will not try to tell you that it gets easier after time, but I will say that it becomes less difficult.
Take time for your grief, but stay involved with people, especially those who care for you and who you care about.
May God bless you and help you through this difficult time.

My sincerest condolences go out to you JAKPAK.
I honestly can't imagine the sorrow you certainly must feel losing your wife of 56 years.
You obviously have many wonderful memories of your life with her and the good times you shared together. I am hopeful that in the future, those beautiful memories will fill your heart, and the pain of today will begin to fade.
Take care JAKPAK.

Yes, sorry for loss.

It's nice that you have good times to remember her by.

Reach out to people that you know JAKPAK. You started well by posting here but you need to continue. Many will pray, some will speak to energy, some will say it's just part of the universe, but everyone who knows you and that wonderful woman who took up 54 years of your heart will offer strength to you. Hang in there. Just keep your world going. You know that's what she would want.
Got kids together? You can keep on giving even more than when she was at your side.

So sorry for your loss. I lost my wife of 30 years 5 years ago due to colon cancer. Although I've been through a similar experience, there is no way I'll say I know what you are going through. It is an intensely personal experience that is unique for everyone. God bless you.

I am so sorry.
I have been sitting here thinking about the wealth of memories you two must have made together.
I remember meeting both of you on one of your Branson trips.
We arranged to meet at the Branson Mall. And we ate at the Osmond's restaurant there.
Your wife was so lovely and gracious to let us talk about 'board business'.

I am taking a while to write this because I keep thinking about her and the good grandmother she was.
Thank you for letting your friends here know of her passing.
You are in my prayers.
