Okay...we are leaving within the week. I will have 2 teens (who don't like country music but do like comedy. They will put up with country music if there is good comedy.), one crabby but loveable hubby, one sweet sister-in-law, and one brother-in-law who is "game" for anything. I want to see classic country, alittle bluegrass or toe stopping music, alittle gospel, and comedy. What show should we see? Thanks!

Pierce Arrow is a good show. It's not all country music and the comedian there is hilarious.
Paul Harris is also very funny, but the majority of his show is country music and the second half is mostly bluegrass.
Those are a couple of our favorites, but there are so many shows to choose from it's hard to pick. Hopefully I helped a little bit. Have a good time!

If I keep recommending "Smoke on the Mountain", someone is probabaly going to accuse me of working for them... ;) :D

But, I just can't say enough good things about this show!!

It is so funny! I had tears in my eyes, from laughing so hard! And the music is great, too! Lots of old time gospel music. And the audience is invited to sing along.

The small, 210 seat Little Opry Theater at the Imax, is the perfect setting for this show!

Pierce Arrow is a really good show! The comedian is hilarious!! They play a little bit of everything. And if you save your stub you can go back for another show at half price. The day and night shows are totally different.
We go every year.

One of the most underrated shows (IMO) is the Grand Jubilee at Grand Country. Lots of laughs with Homer Lee , some country music, some gospel, and some great oldies. You can get a buy l get l free coupon from the vip book they sell at the Christian Book store at Tangers Mall. It's a must see for me everytime I go to Branson. HAVE FUN!!

I have not seen the Haygoods since they were in SDC. I've heard good reports about this entergetic group. The teenage girls really like it. At my age I think all their energy would make me tired.
Smoke on the Mountain is a great show. I'm like Scissortail, they are just too funny, and great music.
The Duttons are really a great family show.
The Presleys have a little of everything mix. Their comedians are great. Everyone should see Cecil, he is really good, so is his Dad. Funny--funny--.Which ever you choose---Have a great time in Branson.

I forgot about this show. It is also very good. We saw it a few weeks ago while there and it was great. They have wide mix of music and Homer Lee is a great comedian!

I would recommend Magnificent 7. If you do a search you will see lots of reviews for this show but they do a wide variety of music with a young talented cast. :)

reading what you were looking for two shows popped into my mind.

Presley's -- comedy, country, bluegrass

Mickey Gilley --- great comedy with Joey Riley, some of the older classic country, plus a little more modern upbeat sounds as well. something for everyone.
