When I was real little I can remember going to the Corn Crib Show. Was just wondering if any of those people were still around and does anyone know where in Branson it was located?

What was the Corn Crib Show? I remember many many years ago like around 1980 we went to Branson and there was a Hee Haw show there. I think it was located where Gilleys Theater is now.

The Corn Crib Theatre was located in the area across the street from the Hughes Bros theatre in the Lodge of the Ozarks complex. Also south of the of Jim Stafford Theatre.
The threatre was built by Lloyd (Shad) Heller, who was famous as the Blacksmith at Silver Dollar City during the 60's and 70's and promoted as the mayor of the City seen on all their promotional materials. The show, a Melodrama, used many of the "street players" from SDC.
There was also a craft village located at the same location. Only one original building remains on the location. It is the ice cream shop, just north of the motel.
Although I visited the village many times, I never saw the show and someone else will need to fill in that information.

I remember going to the Corn Crib theater when I was a teenager! (About 30 years ago!) It was outdoors. I don't remember a lot about it exept that it was full of those "corny" jokes! We went to see it every year and laughed every minute we were there! I can't help but be reminded of it whenever we visit Branson and wish that it was still there. I kind of miss those days there! Sometimes, I wish my kids could see what it was like then. Just a little more laid back and relaxed! We would camp for a week. While we were there, we would go to Silverdollar City everyday, and in the evenings go to watch the Bob-O-Links, Presleys and the Corn Cob Theater! Sometimes, we would go the Shepard of the Hills and watch the play or to the School of the Ozarks to watch one of theirs. And between all of this we would jump in the lake or just do nothing! Oh how times have changed!

The Hee Haw theater was the Roy Clark Theater and the Lodge of the Ozarks was built to connect to the theater.

Back in the 70's we stopped at the Corn Crib Theater and it was a simple place with boards on logs for seating. They did a Toby & Susie show, similar to the Schaffner Players road show version. When we told them we lived just down the road from Mediapolis and Wapello Iowa they were excited, that is where the Toby & Suzie show went home to in the winter months. Toby & Susie was a road show and the Corn Cob theater was in the image of the Toby & Susie show even with bags of peanuts at the intermission, which was a Toby & Susie trade mark.

The Corn Crib Theater was located about where the Ripley's museum is now. Between Shad Heller and several others, that are still working in the area, they had a tremendous vaudville show.

Actually I think was closer to where the Jim Stafford show is now, but regardless it was a very cute show and very enjoyable.

It was just east of where Stafford's is now.

This might be in error since the Hee Haw Theatre was not where the Roy Clark Theatre was. The Lodge of the Ozarks and the Roy Clark theatre was South of the Hee Haw Theatre and never connected to the lodge. The Hee Haw theatre was actually where the Mickey Gilley Theatre is now located. The original Hee Haw theatre burned down after Mickey bought it. He reconstructed the theatre he now occupies at the same location.

You are correct Vickie. The entrance to the Corn Crib was very close to where the little ice cream shop is now located. In fact, the entrance would have passed in front of that building and led to several little shops with parking in front of them. It was a little craft village with the outdoor theatre located toward the rear of the complex.
