Tall Timber Lumber Jack Show

Has anyone been to the Tall Timber Lumber Jack Show? It sounds like something my husband would really enjoy. We have always liked the Dixie Stampede but really didn't want to spend the money to see it again. Also, how was the food? And what is the best way to get tickets for the show?

We went to the lumberjack show twice in 2002. It was interesting. The show was about 4 people (2 groups of 2) that race against each other chopping logs and such. I think they had a dog that did some tricks. We had the steak and it was very good. Had some kind of shrimp as an appetizer but I didn't care for it. We got our tickets by driving out there and got tickets for that night.

We just went to the show in May and loved it. We had a group of 8 and everyone seemed to enjoy it!

The food was a very tasty soup and roll to begin with, then either chicken or steak with cole slaw and cheesy potatoes and then for dessert a pound cake with heath bar whipped cream.

We got our tickets off of Missouri bargains and I felt it was WELL worth the price that we paid from that website!

Hope to take more folks to the show come fall!
