This report by the Branson Critic makes it sound like Joey Riley and the owner of the Mall were in the Branson Mall as owner/lessee when all the problems started for the Osmonds not getting paid. Don't think that is the case.
Evidently, by this posted report on the Critic site, Riley seems to have now leased the Mall Theatre and part of that agreement is that the Mall Entertainers will now be paid according to their contract. Hurray for Joey Riley.
Am I reading this right?
I wish Joey success.

I didn't know how to take the post there, but I was somewhat amused by the poster name of "Evian Nosnarb".

Thanks Suselit,
We just got that anagram! The poster wished to remain anonymous and came up with a funny twist to it. I don't think he's saying you're naive by any means. He's poking fun at all of us (including me) for speaking w/o knowing the facts (I'm guilty, too. lol ':p'
We started The Word on The Street to answer e-mails with questions about what's going on. Some of the insiders to some of the shows have shared info, but wished to remain anonymous. Then we have to verify the info, which takes time, before we upload it.
I guess it's smart that they don't want to give their real names, otherwise they wouldn't get this info. On the other hand, we want to be careful that we don't hurt somebody's good name.
P.S. We don't just take any info from anonymous e-mails. They do identify themselves to us. We just don't post their name or e-mail address or phone #.

I thought it was funny, too.
The Word should be very popular. It's nice for those who don't live close to Branson to be able to hear some of the words on the street...especially when we realize it's just talk..and may or may not come to pass.
Thanks for adding this new feature to your website.
What I think would be really neat is if the Osmonds could find a theater where Merrill, Wayne, Heather, and who ever else could perform during one time slot and then Jimmy could present his show during the other. They could alternate them back and forth. I also think if they could incorporate the Osmond Buffet in there that would be great as well.
Just my thoughts,
:):)
