My girlfriend and I are taking a weekend trip and will be stopping in Branson Saturday through Sunday this weekend. We want to see one show and get recommendations on which one we would like. I am 27 and she is 24. We are not really into country music and both of us really enjoy either variety or comedy events. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the board!
I would suggest Yakov, but he's not open yet. Paul Harris was good when he was with Pierce Arrow. Paul has a show of his own now which I hear is really good. I have seen Spirit of The Dance, it is a good show. I hear The Elvis Experience is good, that is one I want to see on my next trip.
Enjoy your trip to Branson!

I would suggest the Magnificent 7. This cast is young and they do very little country music in their show.
I would also suggest Lost in the 50's. Also a young cast and as the name implies, 50's music.

As far as a music show I would say that one of my favorite non country show is "Stuck on the 70's". It has dancers, live band, costumes of the era. You will hear a lot of familiar songs. By the way this is coming from a 26 year old.

Enjoy!!
