Terrific, we will be visiting the area from Michigan. We have a friend joining us, all of us are animal lovers. Please give me some directions, I'm sure we can find Kimberling City with a map but could you give us the address and directions to the restaurant. Do I understand correctly that it will run from noon to midnight? Do you have a schedule of who will be playing when?

This is really nice for us to be able to support finding homes for animals from a no-kill shelter as we and our friend are members of Michigan Cat Fanciers which actively supports humane organizations.

PETSTOCK ~ We got to go for a bit this afternoon! Got to meet a couple of Board Buddies! - BUT - on the way back to Branson I remembered as we were coming in we were told there were more at one of the tables. I'm embarrased to say that I FORGOT I WAS TOLD THAT:o So, if anyone here is reading this and knows we didn't say "hi" ~ why didn't you throw something at us???:p

While we were there Doug Gabriel and wife performed. First time to hear him. Harley Worthit too.
Before them was (I think, because it was pretty loud and couldn't always hear what was said) Billy Don Scott.

I just want to take this opportunity to thank Darlynn and everyone here connected with Petstock II for allowing WIRE ROAD to play this year. We had a blast and I think everyone there had a good time.
I heard that a record amount of money was raised this year and the event was a big success.

Thank you for making Petstock III the best SO FAR!!! We had a huge turn out and some of the BEST music in the WORLD!!! I'm still counting, and have a couple more cks to pick up, but I have over $2500.00, so far!!!!!!!!! :D

It was great to meet some of the posters from this site! AND have the pleasure to hear some of them perform! :) (Thanks branson bluesman! Wireroad ROCKS!) We had musicians from nearly every show in town! I just can't thank them all enough! There was soooo much talent in that room!

I have SEVERAL NEW HEROES!!! Mr. Todd Oliver, of the Showboat Branson Belle was gracious enough to stop in and give me a big, whopping check for $500.00!!!! AND, he donated tons of DVDs and CDs! Then, the challenge was on! My dear friend, Harley Hardison followed with another check for $500., and soon after, Mark Eubanks, Manager of AHOY'S donated another $500.00!! Mark was SO awesome! He fed ALL my volunteers and ALL the bands, at NO CHARGE!!!! That was some YUM O BBQ, too! Please go out to Ahoy's and show Mark some LOVE! Let him know how much we appreciate him helping our shelter!!
AND, my SUPER HEROE hubby, Scott, for putting the musical lineup together! He did great job of keeping everything moving and setting up for all the bands! BIG Kudos to Terry Garrison and The Highway 13 Band for supplying the P.A. equipment! Without that, there would not have been a show at all!!

**EXTRA big hugs and thanks to The Branson Brothers and Tim Amey and his family for coming out! Under their (present) circumstances, it was above and beyond!! I'm Very proud, at least, that Jimmy and David Ponder's Dad was able to hear them perform together at this event. I was getting all emotional and weepy about that, and at the overwhelming support we received from the community as well! I AM SO PROUD!!!!

I could go ON and ON, and believe me, I WILL BE!! Every chance I get!!!
I am already planning PETSTOCK IV !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do have ONE regret. I did not get to meet dalmation dad!:( Thanks for all your wonderful posts and pictures! You were one of my bestest volunteers!! Hopefully, I will get to meet you someday and give you the big ole hug that you deserve!!

I am so blessed!! ~ darlynn :)

We were all looking for you Dalamation Dad! Sorry I missed meeting you as well! Darlyn = THANKS to you for putting together such a GREAT event - I had a BLAST! I will get you what I have on video this weekend. You and Scott are my hero's for what you do for the shelter!!

And way to go - you all got 5 of the 7 pups there adopted out - even to a band member .... that takes talent (ok, not with him - he loves his puppies!!!)

Looking forward to the next event!!

I was blind sided by a meeting that was promised to be one hour long that morphed into a three hour monster:mad:

By the time I got out of there we only had a short time to spend at PETSTOCK. I have a tough time getting past a cage of dogs, so I spent my time fondling and getting sloppy kisses from a hot female whose name was Tinkerbell. (probably just a name she uses when she works).
Beyond that it was just drop the big bag of dog food, drool over the burgers n beer and good sounds.
Can't wait until version number four next year!

OH! NOW you are in trouble!! You were there!?!?! And didn't introduce yourself?!?!? I have connections, with a search and rescue dog, (Ely), you know, and I am going to put out an APB and track you down, just so I can smack you! :D (But, the RIGHT way!!)

Really...I'm glad you could make it! It was awesome, wasn't it?! I have 2 -3 more cks to pick up, but I am at $2850., so far!!! Hope to break 3 K !!!!

I hereby nominate dalmation dad to be on my fundraising commitee next year!

My alter-ego seconds that!!!

:D

Oh man! I sure am glad I'm not in trouble like Dalmation Dad! DW and I made it to the party right after it started and, regretfully, could only stay for a couple hours. I know we missed alot of the entertainment, but what we saw we really enjoyed. Hats off to all! And Darlynn it was great meeting you, and was hoping to meet other board members, but we had to bug out for a committment. Keep up the good, I mean excellent, work. What a great cause.
By the way, was anyone there from anyplace farther away than Indianapolis?
We live 508 miles from Branson.

Thanks for your support! Hope you guys had good luck with your new home shopping! C'ya next time you're down! ~darlynn
