I am 31 and my dh is 27 so we need something gear toward the young crowd.
We were think about the Legands show. Can anyoen else suggest something else we might like. Comedy would be fun but more of a"grown up" type of show.

I really don't have a wide array of experience with the Branson shows. Once my family finds something everyone enjoys, we tend to stick with that on a repeat basis.
I highly recommend the Hughes Brothers show. I've been following them since they were performing at Silver Dollar City in 1995, and I just don't get tired of seeing the same performances, hearing the same jokes over and over again.
Jim Stafford was also a lot of fun, but I've only been to his show once and it was a while ago, so I don't know how it is now.

Hi there. I can tell you the ones I get most good reviews about here at the motel.
SIX is a big favorite. The guys don't have a band, they make all the sounds of the instruments. Really fun.
Have not had a bad review about Magnificent Seven which includes dinner for $6.95. It is an awesome production of seven decades of music.
Right now the last ten contestants of america's got talent are in town. Really good.
Also know you would enjoy Island Fire. Lots of movement from those guys.
I always have to recommend the Acrobats of China too. They are awesome!
Pierce Arrow always gets good feed back too.
So, I could go on all day about the wonderful talent in Branson. You could stay here a month to see it all. If you have any other questions, please feel free to give me a call. I will be glad to help any way I can.

Hi
If you are looking for a morning show, may I suggest "Good Morning Branson".
It is a variety show, and it is fast paced and fun! Andre Shepard of the Branson Brothers does a really great James Brown segment, and also Ray Charles. THe band is awsome, and Bill Reader on Sax is very good. He does a 4 sax tunes that are really good. The show is in the Branson Hall of Fame Theater located in the branson mall. Hope to see you there!

I second that about The Finalists Show! They have at least three or more of the top ten finalists from America's Got Talent performing and it is an awesome show. Island Fire is great, too, like was mentioned. I would also say to take in The Dutton Show. It is fast paced and highly entertaining. Have fun!

Oh, I forgot to say that if you do the Finalist Show and the Dutton Show you get a buffet dinner free. That was delicious.

I think Six would be a good one for you. The Haygoods is a lively show, and very entertaining too. If you like oldie songs, both 50's at the Hop or Lost at the 50's are both very good.

I love SPIRT OF THE DANCE - a high energy dance show
and
Broadway - The best music/dance numbers from the most famous Broadway shows.
I am not too much into County and Western music but I love good dancing and these 2 shows have the best dancers in Branson.

Magnificent 7 is a very good high energy show. If you love country music I highly recommend Clay Cooper's Country Music Express. We also saw Legends this summer and it was good but I think there is a different lineup now. Dixie Stampede is also a must if you are a 1st timer.
I've been coming to Branson since I was 30 (about 10 years) and it really depends on your tastes in music. Branson has opened me up to loving a wide variety of music that I never considered before. Many great shows have been mentioned. For comedy and country music try Pierce Arrow or Clay Cooper of Grand Jubliee, for oldies try The Platters with Lost in the 50's, for something all together different try Six, for magic try Darren Romeo or Kirby Van Burch, for a blast from the past try Paul Revere and the Raiders and Bill Medley. Wow, makes me want to help back down there!

Try the new morning show at Moon River Theater. Its called "The Entertainers. This is a more up-tempo variety show. Not your typical toothless hillbilly comedian Branson show. This show has everything from James Brown to Bluegrass. It would definitely please a middle aged crowd.

There are well known shows like Yakov and Jim Stafford. and Kirby Van Burch. These are great and well worth the price. However, if you are on a budget you can only afford so many of these that run $40 and up per ticket. We bought some not so well known tickets from a discount ticket broker downtown which averaged about $25 per. They were Joey Riley and Mike Walker, both appearing at the Mickey Gilley Theatre. Joey Riley was hilarious. Mike Walker, who does singing impressions was out of this world. I predict this guy is going to go far in this town, if not on the world stage. He not only has the talent, but as an audience, you get everything he's got. This guy works very hard and it's nice to see the level of enthusiasm he displays.
