Urgent!!! (Will Dolly Parton be in Branson this weekend?)

My husband was told by a co-worker that Dolly Pardon is going to be at Dixie Stampede this weekend.

Is this true?

Yes, I heard this too! We live in Rolla and a friend of ours works there. She said Dolly will be there and another "big star"! We weren't going to come down but now we might just have to!!

Maybe I'll find out something when I get to Branson tomorrow. I'd love to see her!! I've seen her with Kenny awhile back, what a great concert that was!!

She has been known to come into town and check out the management and running of the Stampede. I think that is a mark of good ownership -- to keep checking up on things. Have fun everyone and post if you see her!

Well I do know that she does make visits to Branson and to Dixie Stampede.
One time she came down from the ceiling in that lighted gazebo they use.
Everyone was surprised and pleased to see Dolly!:)

What started this was one of my husbands co-workers told him she was going to see Dolly Pardon at Dixie Stampede. I told him, she was going to Dollys Dixie Stampede that Dolly wouldn't be there, he said he was sure she said Dolly would be there last weekend. So that is why I posted to prove to him that Dolly was not going to be there!!! I keep forgettting to ask him if he ever asked her if she saw Dolly. I'll try to remember to post what he said after I ask him about this later.:duh:
