Located in the Buffalo National River Country near Jasper, Arkansas
I've just now seen it on The Travel Channel!
This house is amazing!

How close is this to Eureka Springs?

Great Day Trips :
Eureka Springs (43 miles) - a historic Victorian spa city noted for its unique architecture, the Great Passion Play, the Eureka Springs, and the North Arkansas Narrow Gauge Railroad. Excellent dining, a Summer Opera Workshop and Productions, a Dinosaur park, and the downtown Basin Park, which features Traditional Music on most evenings

Branson, MO (60 miles) - the Country Music capital with shows by such noted artists as Charley Pride, Andy Williams, and our own Baldknobbers. Also Silver Dollar City theme park and Whitewater, a swimmer's fun park

Springfield, MO (100 miles) - home of Bass Pro Shops, the premier sporting goods store and more. Their collection of outdoors art, hunting and fishing exhibits, wildlife mounts, and the giant aquarium are well worth the trip.

You don't think $450.00 for one night is expensive for 2 people?
It would be fun for one night even at that price if you're celebrating
an Anniversary & want to do something different! Different, it is!

well, it's high for a night, but if you were to stay fro 5 nights then I Think it's not bad...We spend way more than that at a beach house for 7 nights...So if it were for a 5 to 7 night thing, not really bad...

Gave the information on the Cave House to my boss. He can afford it and loves places like that so I think he is planning on taking his wife for a quick get away. She loves to fish, hike, etc., so I think he is thinking of going down for a couple of days and then on over to Bull Shoals to do a little fishing for a couple of days too.

If I win the lottery, I'll definitely look into this as a "reward escape" for hubby and me, and I plan on winning a little this year.

Checked out the LongBow cabin -- wow that is also pretty awesome and a little cheaper for us economical travelers (LOL). Again - might have to check that out. I love stuff like this and those types of places are wonderful to experience and enjoy.
