When we stay in our RV, we usually have at least one cookout.
The last time we stayed in a motel, we had hoped to find a park, or someplace, to have a picnic, and cook some burgers, but, we couldn't find anyplace!
All the picnic areas, near downtown, have been closed off.
There is a small park, near Dixie Stampede, but we wanted something a little quieter, away from traffic.
Out on Roark Valley Road, there's a sign, pointing the way to a park (can't remember the name). We took the road, and ended up back on Hwy 76, and never saw the park!

That said..... can anyone tell me where a good picnic area is, where we could have a cookout??
What about Indian Point? Anything out there?

Thanks!

There are some grills at the fish hatchery, over looking lake taneycomo. Cant get much more peaceful then that.

Thanks for the replies!! I'll check out those areas!

BTW, we brought our own grill, last time, and we'll bring it with us again.
So, finding a place with a grill is not really an issue.
Just a place with a table, and some shade!

Kinda like Briscoe Darling, "Just a bed, and a Bible." LOL! :D

Thanks again!
