I'm sure some of you remember Larry King's old show here, King's Country Show. Well, Larry had to take some time off to recover from colon cancer. But, as of 10am May 24, Larry King is back performing in Branson!! He returns in a new show, Lit'l Nashville Opry, Tuesday through Friday, 10am, at the Moe Bandy Theatre. Larry is joined by numerous musicians -- yes, folks -- it's live, it ain't "memorex" -- to present a show of pure, classic country! And, for our country's Veterans, Larry is proud to allow you to come to see the show for F*R*E*E*!!!! Yes, all veterans are free at all times at the Lit'l Nashville Opry. Just a little "thank you" for their service!!!
For more information, you can contact the show's office at 417-334-7203.
**And just to be on the up-and-up -- while I'm not an "employee" of the show, I used to work with Larry's wife and have been helping them out some!!**

Well, I have to ask: Who is Larry King? Only one I've heard of is Larry King Live. Have I missed something, like a great show?

Larry King Show free for veterans!
Now that is a great honor shown to our vets.
More shows, entertainment should be also signing up.
I do recall several shows that I have attended,
where the veterans and active military are asked to stand
and everyone applauds in the entire theater.

Engel,
If I remember correctly, he's a country singer. He had a show here a few years ago, called, "King's Country Show". I want to say that he has a long history of performing, but I don't know how well he's known. I searched on the internet, but haven't found anything about him. If I do, I'll post it!

Sorry...haven't been able to get back online since my original post.
Branson Mom and Avonlady pretty well answered Engel's question about who Larry King is. He has a great band, has worked in country music all around the country. Used to have a dinner theatre in South Dakota and had an Opry show in St. Joseph, Missouri a while back as well. In fact, anyone who knows who Todd Bradshaw is, Todd was in Larry's show in St. Joseph....before he came to Branson and ended up first in Shoji's show, then at SDC, and now in the Grand Jubilee!

I'm glad someone explained who this Larry King is. I saw his show on the marquis at the Moe Bandy theater last week and was wondering what "Larry King Live" was doing in Branson! (g)
