Hi I'm new to this board and have been reading through the posts. Lots of good info.!! I am going to Branson in August for my honeymoon. It's been 25 years since I've been to Branson and I'm very excited about it. We are planning on seeing some shows while we are there and so I was excited to find out about the cheaper tickets available through missouribargains.com but I'm a little unsure about it. Is there some kind of catch to using missouribargains.com for purchasing show tickets? Do you have to sit through some sort of condo share sales pitch to get the discount prices? I noticed on their site that there is no guarantees...seems a bit risky. Can anyone give me some feedback or additional information? Their prices are terrific..almost too good to be true kind of thing and so I'm just a bit nervous about getting scammed.
Thanks!
Can't answer your question. Do want to welcome you to the board and congratulate you on your wedding.

Do a search for Missouri Bargains. Several posters have purchased tickets thru them. Welcome!

We bought tickets to the Tall Timber Lumberjack show and Country Tonight for our trip at the end of July. They sent 'vouchers' and then we called the theater to reserve our tickets. I told both box offices what we had and they were totally fine with it. Got 3rd row center at Country Tonight; thought they might stick us in the back or something, but appears like it is going to be great. Ordered 4 tickets to each show. Saved tons of money. Got a better deal for Magnificant 7 at the theater box office because they had a family pass that worked out for us better. Never hurts to look around and see what you can find. :)

I purchased Swing, Swing, Swing tickets thru MissouriBargains.com. on-line. I recieved a conformation email right away and my vouchers (to be exchanged for tickets at the box office) arrived within 2 days. There was even a map to the theatre included.
Then I called up the box office, made reservations by telling them about my vouchers (media vouchers) and we got good seats. Very simple and easy.

I purchased tickets to the Shepard of the hills on there last week and they mailed them right away.I called Shepard of the Hills and made the reservation for tommorow night.Told them I had vouchers and they said great just come by the ticket office before the show and trade for my tickets.I felt the same way you did but I read so many good reviews on the board and I read they get the vouchers in exchange for advertising on the radio and offer them on here so everyone can have a chance to save and not just local people who have already been there a dozen times. If it does not go well tommorow I will get on here and let you know.

I am happy to explain this. There is a radio station in a town about 30 miles from where I live. The shows give the radio station tickets in exchange for air time on the radio. The procedure is that you purchase a voucher from the www.missouribargains.com website (using a credit card). They mail you the voucher and on the voucher is a phone number for the theater. You call the theater and make a reservation for the day/night you want to see the show, telling them that you have a radio station voucher (some shows, not many might have some seating restrictions such as they are not good for the 1st ten rows). The theater will give you a confirmation number. You write that number on the back of your voucher, then when you get to Branson you go by the box office and exchange your voucher for your actual tickets. There is no further charge. This is honest and completely aboveboard.

I have ordered tickets from missouribargains 4 or 5 times now. I would not hesitate to do it again if they get some more shows.

The only thing I can add is that I made my reservations & got seat assignments BEFORE I told them about the vouchers, just in case it made a difference in where I got seats.

We also used tickets from Missouribargains with no problems at all. No, you do not have to sit through any timeshare selling promotion. I wouldn't have done it if this was the case. I hate those things. Also, we got seating on the first few rows with all the tickets we bought through them. The theaters we went to never mentioned this. They all acted like it was really no problem at all. :) We will buy tickets from this place again. :) :)
