THREE CHEERS FOR BRANSON CUTIE!! Thanks for the great news, I called right away and got my reservations for our Sept trip. The gal at the box office didn't think the information had been released to the public yet and I told her to check the Branson message board. I gave her the link and she was surprised, didn't know there was such a place, said she was going to check it out more later.

Wonderful news! Although I hate to share the Osmonds with someone else on stage, I must thank the Hughes Bros. for opening their theater and hearts. The Hughes are a great family and have a wonderful show. Three cheers!!! :D ;) :p :o :)

it hasn't all been set yet, but they would be sharing the stage time.

From what I understand, the Hughes Brothers will do the first half and the Osmonds the 2nd half...much as the Osmonds did with the Rankin Brothers on July 3.

We had tickets reserved for Wed. Sept 15th at the Branson Mall. The new theater does not have any Osmond Show for that evening. We have all our other evening shows filled. That's about how my life goes.

An idea would be for you to switch nights with one of your other scheduled shows. Go to one of the other shows on Wednesday evening and book the Osmonds on one of the other nights.

Just a little trivia tidbit...I understand that about 10 years ago the Hughes Brothers were without a place to perform in Branson and The Osmonds invited them to perform with them. Now it's the Hughes Brothers' chance to repay that favor!

I remember the first time I saw the Hughes Brothers. It was a 1995 performance at the Gazebo Stage at the front of Silver Dollar City; it was their first year performing there, I believe. My family and I loved their show so much, we made sure from then on to see it every time we went to SDC. We followed their progress as they moved from SDC to sharing a theater off the 76 Highway and then to their own theater on the main strip. So now, 9 years later, going to their show is a Branson vacation tradition.

I love their music, their humor, and their great family-oriented fun. I'm glad to hear they are sharing their theater with the Osmonds (one of my mom's favorite groups). Actually, I find it ironic as I've seen the Hughes Brothers compared--in a good light--to the Osmonds many times before. :)
