( I need to speed up..time for work..lol)

Thursday we went to SDC...really enjoyed it..VERY hot!! We ate at Aunt Polly's ( I think) Italian restaraunt. Very good..then went for ice cream at a dessert place. we watched TheCajun Connection with Cedric Benoit. Very good show...The crowds wasbig but it was nice.

Friday afternoon we saw Hank revisited with Tim Hadler. he gave us half off on tickets. Very good show. They do alot of comedy, bluegrass, gospel, Alot of Hank..but also Patsy Cline, Johnny and June. The theater is really cool. About 500 seats. Tim is very nice and so kind. I enjoyed this show. Normally I dont care for classic country. Go see it!

Ray Stevens Friday night.....Good show..not great. Very disappointed! Glad I went, probably wont go back! We enjoyed most of it.

Places we ate. Steak and Shake...fantastic, Wendy's..good. Grand Country Buffet..breakfast and Dinner....WONDERFUL. Baldknobber restaraunt breakfast..not good. Penelopes....not good. Sadies....Good. IHOP...good. Goden Corral..breakfast and dinner...OUT Of This World..delicious. Old Hickory BBQ...good. Penelopes..bad....Pizza house on 76...really bad. I dont know what was worse, the nasty, stale, cold, burnt pizza or the ants crawling on the table....really,really bad. Cheap but nasty.... We loved two dessert places on 76..good desserts and sandwiches...cakes and creames or something like that.. It was incredible.

We loved swimming by the pool..Ride The Ducks, Ripleys Believe It Or Not..going to the lake...SHOPPING!! We had fun. I hated to leave. I may go back a few days in August. I want to see Peirce Arrow.

This is my vacation in a nutshell.

Thanks for posting. Sounds like you were on the go all the time. Much more than I am when I'm there. I tend to take my time getting anywhere. I envy anyone who can accomplish as much as you did.

enjoyed reading the reviews.

where is the pizza house? not that I want to go there, something to avoid it sounds like.

man, who would of thought you'd need a bouncer at a Branson music show. The guy at the Presley's... takes nerve or stupidity ... or both, to think you could just walk in - sit down without buying a ticket.

:D I don't know about the age thing, Don. We took two 18 year olds with us and they both thought Ray Stevens was the best show in Branson! :) I guess everyone having different tastes is what makes things interesting. :D

OkieAnon...

The Pizza House is just before you get to Grand Country on 76 in a small shopping center....yuck.

Don....I have loved Ray since I was itty bitty and The Streak came out. I love his comedy and his voice. Another person from that era I want to see is Tony Orlando. His Christmas show Santa and Me. Tony hosted the Branson Fest show we went to and he was Great!! :D

So many good shows....so little time...LOL :D :D
