We stayed at the Baldknobber Inn. I really like it. Reasonable, pool in back, and within walking distance to food and shows.Very clean and Friendly!

Our first show was The Presleys, Tues night. Very good show. We went upstairs at 7:00 for the gospel sing-a-long around the piano. I really enjoyed this. Then it was off to claim our seats. We had a little bit of trouble finding our seats. An older rude couple were in our seats. Hubby had to hunt for an usher..anyway a young girl(usher) came and asked to see their tickets. They didnt have any. Another couple with them were buying tickets and they decided to come in and sit down. The usher didnt know what to do, the man refused to move and was very rude. My Husband finally just told him, he was going to have to get up.We already paid for our seats. It was very embarrassing!! Not to pleased with staff..we were left to handle it our selves...Now onto the show....It is very good show!! The Presley family are very talented, each one can switch to many different instruments. I was very impressed! There were three girl singers, I cant remember what they sang. Good but not great! Jay did a Merle Haggard medley and The Dance. Herkimer and Cecil was good...but alot of the jokes fell flat. herkimer said several times you clap up and down or side by side as long as you clap. I felt kinda sorry for them. The music is much better than the comedy. Cecil did do some pretty funny things, like coming out of the ceiling and falling off the stage. The highlight was a gospel song " I bowed On My Knees" dedicated to Cliff. it was beautiful!! One of Presley little girls does...You aint woman enough to take my man" Cute!!

Went for autographs at intermission. Herkimer and Cecil were very nice...The rest....very hard to make conversation. maybe It was just an off night.

This is a good show. We enjoyed most of it. Glad we went, but I dont know if we will go back for Christmas.

We also had a bad experience at the Presley's a few years ago. But all turned out well. We had front row center seats, and when we were ushered to our seats someone else was there. They also had the same tickets, or so they made us think. I didn't actually see them. Some kind of a computer mix up they said. They offered us seats back about the 5th or 6th row, giving the other people the front row seats. I wouldn't accept, because I figured if it was there mistake, then the other people had no more right in the seats than we did. I wasn't real ugly, but they knew that I wasn't a "happy camper." We left the theater and was walking through the parking lot when one of the ushers hollered for us to come back. The other couple had taken the seats offered us, and they gave us back the front row seats, and also our money back. During intermission when they announce tour groups, and so on, they mentioned that one of the Presley's wives in-laws were there and asked them to stand up. When I looked back they were in the same area as the seats we had been offered. Made me think there might not have been a computer mix-up after all. Don't know for sure, just made me wonder!

Sounds fun but I am sitting here shocked that people are so bold and rude to take seats that aren't there's and then to get all uppity about it.
I can't believe that couple didn't even have tickets and refused to get up  They should have kicked his non ticket holding behind straight to the curb
