I have been looking forward to eating at Whippersnappers and finally got the chance. However, I will not eat there again due to the fact that I think it is overrated. The lobster had no taste. The crab was okay. The price was way too much. And my grandson's fruit had mold in it. When we told them about the mold they just said fine. They never even offered to adjust our bill. The cashier was rude and implied we found the mold so we could have a discount. That is not the case. Anyway, she was rude. We won't eat there again.

Service was great. Wish I could say the same for the food! Very small snow crab, small tasteless lobster, not much selection. Certainly not worth the $30 per person we paid. Of course we could have used the $1 coupon, but it still would not be worth going again.
FABULOUS

My hubby and I try to go every year. It will be our 27th anniversary and this is where we plan to go. If you don't like lobster they do have a menu you can order off of. I would far rather pay 25.00 for all you can eat lobster than almost that much for one at a classy place. They do not have a big variety on the buffet, but the majority of people are like us and just fill up on the lobster, I can get veggies and other stuff any other time. The staff is always friendly and the place clean. If you want lobster or crab legs this is the place to go, if you want something else order off the menu.
Loved every bite!

We were on a weekend trip with our teen daughters and saw the sign in our hotel. As we all love seafood, we thought we'd splurge. Yes, they cater to the lobster/crab-eating crowd, but, hey - what else do you expect from an all-you-can-eat crustacean buffet!? It was really, REALLY good. It was busy, yet there was always food - my hubby ate 7 lobsters himself - well worth the $24/pp. The teen daughters probably put away 5 lb each of the crab. Very good - I'd recommend it and we're DEFINITELY going back!
Not the best I have had!

We had the buffet which did not have much variety. They cater and charge, likewise, to the lobster eating crowd. I paid for all the lobster everybody else ate that I didn't find very tasty. Overcrowded, undermanned and underfurnished food bar was enough to let me know these people were not getting any more of my hard earned money. Thanks for having a place where we can read about the restaurants and other things in Branson.
Excellent!!!

WhipperSnapper's is a great place to go if you love Lobster! I have visited several times. Always the staff was curtious, very helpful and the lobster was delicious!!! Plus if you look around Branson or on the internet, there are discount coupons to go, that's what I like also.
Disappointing

On my last birthday, hubby wanted to take me someplace "extra" special, and knowing that I love seafood decided to treat me to WhipperSnapers for dinner.
Well, first off, the supply of food available was small - especially the seafood. There were a lot of people eating that night and the food containers were frequently empty so you had to "make do" with something else or continue to check back regularly to try and be the first one in line when the new food came out.
Secondly, and probably the part that turned me off the most was that a lot of the veggies on the salad bar were well, well, WELL past their prime. The cucumbers had gotten to that "see through gooey stage" when they are all slimy and nasty and the lettuce wasn't much better. When we complained to the manager on duty he apologized and said he would fix it. But he never did. Nobody came out to replace the salad or at least take the rotting vegetables out.
Actually, I did not find the seafood that impressive and certainly not worth the $24- or so that we spent per person to eat there. I would certainly never eat there again because it is definitely not worth it. YMMV.
