Seven Gables was GREAT
Written by sinnerlikeps
We stayed for 3 nights 4 days and everything went very well. We had our twin 13 yr old daughters with us and they enjoyed it greatly. Before we left Texas I called and asked about moving the reservation up 2 days and adding a ref. and microwave. The lady was so kind she said that it would be no problem. I called the place that booked the vacation for us and let them know we moved our check in time up and they tried to charge more money, I told them I would call them back, I called 7 Gables back and they said there was no charge for the changes. They said I neednt pay the travel agent anything more. I called the agent back and THEY were a little tift because they could not get more money. I LIKE SEVEN GABLES. The people are great the service was great and the room was great. I gave a rating of 9 because there's always room for improvement.
Thank you

Pleasantly Pleased

My family and I were planning a few days away in Branson, but were on a tight budget, so when I heard about a radio station discount I called Seven Gables Inn for room rates and was pleasantly suprised, considering that hotel/motel expenses are so high! I didn't even check around for other rates. Our stay was great with a nice breakfast provided of cereal, donuts, waffles, biscuit and gravy, etc! We were also suprised to find upon arriving to our room; a refridgerator and microwave! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool was also nice. We have no complaints except for the stairs, but will most certainly stay here again for our next time.
Not impressed!

Wish I would have had the same reception when we arrived. I had to call the front desk to find out when checkout was, ice machines and pool. No directory. Several mishaps do to mix-up from front desk. Message not mine, rousted out of bed by maintenance for a problem not mine. But the weirdest thing- maid came in when we were at breakfast and threw out 'trash' replaced towels and made bed and we were a checkout not a stayover. Overall not an enjoyable stay. Didn't do breakfast there so can't tell you about that.
Seven Gables Inn - A nice place to stay

We had time for a short weekend getaway and I was looking for a hotel with a very affordable price since we had plans to be out of the room most of the time anyhow. I was looking at the discounts page online at http://bransonmom.com (which lead to external links) and searching out deals when I came across a coupon for $34.95 per night 1-4 people. This to me was a definite bargain, so I called and spoke with a very pleasant person who was all too happy to take my reservation. A few days before we were scheduled to arrive, I decided to call and ask about a fridge & microwave. I figured I may or may not get one, but it couldn't hurt to ask, and they were more than happy to put one in our room.
Well, when we arrived at 9:30 on Friday evening, the associate at the desk was super polite and acted like she even liked her job.. lol. It was very nice to speak with someone who was more than accommodating. She explained the best place to park and the amenities of the hotel. First impressions mean so much and she really went out of her way to give the Seven Gables Inn a great first impression.
We went to our room and were very pleased. It was a little larger than most rooms, immaculate, smelled good and was very nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked well, and the bathroom was spacious & clean. The maid came in the second day of our stay and put fresh sheets on the bed and freshened up the room.
Notes - Upside
*Our room had dispensers on the wall (above the sink & in the shower) that held shaving cream, shampoo, soap, & conditioner.
*Breakfast was served each morning (waffles, fruit, cereal, juices)
*Very clean looking pool that was sectioned off from 3' - 6'. Not really big, but nice enough.
*Excellent price with the coupon.
Notes - Downside
*No elevator
*Room keys are not electronic
*Not enough dresser drawers (2)
Overall, I'd say this hotel easily rates an 8. It's located on 165, half a mile (if that) from the stoplight and within walking distance of Walgreens, shows, food, and convenience stores. I will most likely stay here again even though there are so many choices for lodging in Branson.
