A fav!

This is definitely our favorite place to stay here. Flat parking lot is a plus for starters. Indoor pool and hot tub are the real draw. I can swim while hubby relaxes his achy frame in the cuzzi! The breakfast free choices could be better but he likes the biscuits and gravy otherwise he couldn't eat much. Friendly staff, who get it right the first time with a smile. I appreciate their efforts and when you are not a bother to someone who does their job it is very nice indeed. No eye rolling or passing the buck here as in another place we stayed here. The rooms are clean even behind the bathroom door which is how you tell if they just pass thru cleaning what they have to or clean everything. I used to clean rooms and this is a dead give away. I want the room to "seem" as if no one else has stayed there. In other words, no hair or stuff on floor or on the shower curtain. This place cleans well. :)
Review-Quality Inn Shepherd Hills
Written by jdedit2001
I stayed last week in Branson at the Quality Inn on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway. The hotel has a perfect location across from the Shoji Tabuchi Theatre. I picked this hotel for two reasons: it had both an indoor and outdoor pool and an exercise room. It was so hot last week that I only used the outdoor pool. It was small but clean. The exercise room had two treadmills and 2 Nordic riders. The treadmills were fairly basic, but they worked and there was no extra charge to use the exercise room.
This hotel has both exterior corridor rooms and one building that has interior corridors. I stayed in the building with interior corridors since I was traveling by myself and generally feel safer with interior corridors. The room was spacious and clean. I thought the bed was comfortable. I definitely had no trouble sleeping, that's for sure. The room also had a recliner in it, which I thought added a nice touch of home. Definitely more comfortable than sitting on a bed all the time.
The hotel has a small restaurant/bar that is open Tues.-Sat nights. I was too lazy to get back out in traffic one night, so it was nice to have the option to order something to take back to the room there. It was nothing fancy, but the cheeseburger and fries I ordered were good. They also serve the breakfast in this restaurant. The free options at breakfast included bagels, fruit, donuts, and I believe they also had biscuits and gravy for free. You could also order a regular breakfast for $3.00 or so. Oatmeal was available for $1.00. I'm cheap and just stuck with the free stuff.
I was impressed with how friendly all the staff were at this hotel. I did not encounter one surly person during my 5 day stay. That is indeed rare.
So, to sum up, the rooms were spacious and clean, the staff was friendly, the location was perfect. I would stay here again.
