Terrible food

Worst food and service. We live in Harrison, Ar. so we visit Branson weekly. Thought it would be fun to go the Imax watch a movie and go out to eat. Since Mcfarland's was right there, we would give it a try. Very pricey, the food and service was horrible. When the cashier checked us out ask how everything was, so we just told her the truth. The bewilderment on her face told it all so we just left. Just had the impression she just thought we were tourist and would'nt be back anyways. Well she was right!!! There to many places to eat in Branson that are excellant. I would never suggest eating at Mc Farlands.

This is a must that we always eat at McFarlains....great food, great service and selection.

Our waitress had only been there a week...very attentive.

The sweet potatos and fried green tomatos are what keep us coming back.:D YUM!!

From the chef salads, hamburgers to chicken pot pie...all was delicious. Just wished we had of saved room for pie...they looked very appealing.
The place was packed...but quick & hot food came right out.

We thought we would give this place a try since I have read so much about it on these boards. We used the 15% off coupon out of one of the coupon books. I had the fish and chips. It wasn't very good. I would have rather had Long John Silvers. My husband had the chicken pot pie and he said that it was really good. We need to go back and try this place again when we are more hungry. By the time we went here it was late in the week and we had just eaten way too much.

Nice restaurant - good atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good. We stopped here for pie after a show there too and it was exceptional. Will definitely go back on our next trip to Branson.

Have been to McFarlains several times over the years and always enjoy it. Some servers are better than others but still enjoy it. They have the greatest cornbread.
