REVIEW: Leisure Country Inn

We stayed at The Leisure Country Inn Labor Day weekend of this year and it was horrible. At arrival we asked about the "half price" tickets to THE TRACKS which was the main reason we had booked this motel and not only did the gentleman at the front desk tell us "Oh, we dont carry those anymore" but he proceeded to tell us that they are a rip off and that it would be a waste of our money to take the kids there, I thought this to be very unprofessional behavior and I suggested to him that if they no longer offer the tickets then they need to remove that info from their web advertisements. The pool and hot tub were too nasty to get into or to let our grandchildren in. The rooms were NOT clean, there was actually mold on the shower walls...we did not even have a top sheet on one of the beds and when we complained , we were told that housekeeping apologized but there wasnt anything they could do about it tonight...eeek!!! They do not supply soap or shampoo in the rooms. We had 2 adults and two teenagers in our room and had only 3 towels...we continuously had to go and get more towels. The remote control didn't work on our tv. My sisters family was in the adjoining room and their a/c did not work!! The DELUXE CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST was a joke..it was frozen biscuits thawed halfway out and horrible gravy and store bought donuts..at 8:45 on Sat morning they were out of coffee!!!! The young lady that was staying in the room next door obviously lived there and would hang her underwear out on the railing to dry!!!!! It was lovely to step out to a strangers underwear everyday, my husband complained to the front desk but no action was taken that we saw. I would NEVER stay here again.
