Great meal

Landry's was the best meal I had in Branson, Mo. Being on a tour, I expected the food to be just average. I was delighted with everything about Landry's. The fish was done just right and the service was great. Our waiter was a young fellow and very personable. This was our first stop for a meal and I expected the rest of our stops to be as good, but they weren't. Landry's has my vote as one of the best in Branson, Mo.

We are always please with Landry's for a special night out. A little pricey maybe but it is worth it. My wife has requested this for a special birthday dinner.

I ate there for lunch a while ago and I was not overwhelmed. I ordered Crawfish Etouffe and what came out was shrimp in some lame white sauce. Now I have eaten etouffe more times than I can count, and not once was the sauce white. The server was apologetic about it being shrimp instead of crawfish and offered to take it back to the kitchen, but I was hungry so I didn't want to wait any longer. Seems that they should have offered a dessert or small discount on my ticket for getting it wrong.

Also, the serving was not generous. Even after eating a small dinner salad with the entree which consisted of 5 shrimp and about 1/4 cup of rice, I did not feel full or even satiated. In fact, on my way back to work I stopped at Taco Belle and got a burrito to fill me up.

For what I paid ($14), I did not feel that it was worth the money. I have been to Landry's in the past for dinner and did not have any problems except for a little girl (about two), who insisted on walking on top of the table next to me (her parent's fault - not hers), which I thought was in very bad taste.

Overall, I think there are better places to eat for the money.

Wonderful place to eat with great food and great service. Only problem is sometimes you cannot get in because they are so busy.
