Jim Owen is truly a man of many talents. He's a great songwriter, and has many gold records to prove it. He's also a very talented actor, comedian, producer, director and recording artist. Dottie West called him a "legend", and Charlie Daniels simply called him a "superstar."

Jim sings some of the hits he's written, including the mega-hit "LOUISIANA WOMAN, MISSISSIPPI MAN" for Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn. He always includes the hits of country music's number one star, Hank Williams. Jim portrayed Hank in two television movies and won Public Television's highest award for his effort.
