Review - Gilley's

We always go to Gilley's when we are in town. This time I had the taco plate and dh had a hamburger. Both were very good. His hamburger was huge. The waitress we had was very good and really friendly. We bought a jar of salsa to bring home with us.

Great chicken and dumplings

We had lunch at Gilley's before we saw an afternoon show. 3 of us had the chicken and dumplings and they were delicious. The other person had a burger and fries and said they were very good too.

Service was not great. We had a male waiter and he didn't come back to see if we needed anything and wasn't friendly at all. We found the same thing last year when we went there.

Place is decorated nicely.

We stopped at Gilley's on our last night in Branson. We had ate there several years ago and I remembered it had been very good. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, my husband got the chicken and dumplings and a cup of chili. My teen daughters got the cheese quesidilias(sp) and dumplings. Everyone was very pleased with portion size and the taste of their selections. My husband and I both had a couple frozen strawberry margaritas (which may have helped earn Gilley's 10 stars in my review :-).

Not only is the food great, but the menu has a large selection which includes small items such as a cup of chili or a cup of dumplings for under $3.00 (which is so nice after days of all-you-can-eat buffets)!
