Dogwood Canyon Tram Tours

Dogwood Canyon Nature Park sprawls across the Missouri Arkansas border just south of Branson, MO. Aside from a few amenities to make Dogwood Canyon Nature Park more accessible to our guests, the rugged landscape has been left untouched and, with just a little imagination, you can travel backward to a time when European settlers first entered the area or, even further, to explore the mark that native Americans left on these Missouri hills and hollows.

The first parcels of the property were acquired in 1990 by Johnny Morris, the founder of Bass Pro Shops. It was his dedication to conserving our natural environment that has become the cornerstone for development of this spectacular wilderness experience. So many opportunities await you at this incredible 10,000 acre parcel of unspoiled Ozarks landscape.

Park summer hours may vary. See calendar below for available hours. For the safety of our guests and the protection of our wildlife, pets, rollerblades, skateboards, scooters and alcohol are not permitted. Activities subject to weather and availability. The park is accessible to guests with disabilities.

Wildlife Tram Tours (Two Hour Tour)

Our specially designed open-air trams allow guests to ride in comfort across our many custom bridges and low water crossings. Experienced guides enhance your adventure with an informative glimpse into both natural and cultural history. As you cruise the canyon floor, you'll be introduced to Indian Burial Cave and Great Spirit Rock Shelter, where archaeologists made some fascinating discoveries. Reservations are strongly recommended.

The Wildlife Tour provides a comprehensive journey into this special property, taking about 2 hours. You will travel beyond the Glory Hole into the more rugged reaches of the canyon, cross the Arkansas border, and ascend some 300 feet to our bison, elk, and longhorn pastures. When possible, your driver will bring you very close to these majestic creatures while sharing facts about their heritage and habitat.

Our trams, as well as other facilities within the park, are accessible to our guests with disabilities. Please advise when making reservations.

Tram Tour Times are 10:00 am, 11:00 am, 12:30, 1:30 pm, or 3:00 pm. There are other specific dates with 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm tours. The tour lasts approxiamately two hours in length.
