Bill Medley/Paul Revere and the Raiders

Written by milo

We saw this show this last summer, and we're going to see it again Thanksgiving Weekend. Paul Revere is fantastic, funny, great music, and never slows down. I don't know how he does it after all these years. He clearly loves his "work" and connects with the audience.

But I really have to say something special about Bill Medley. I had never been aware all these years that the Righteous Brothers had been considered "rhythm and blues", and neither had I been a particular fan. And I have not been a longtime blues fan either, though I have recently come to appreciate some blues music more. Bill puts on a great show, but when he did a song near the end of the show, it just blew me away. I had to get that song. So after the show, I found it on a CD and Bill was kind enough to sign it for me. It turns out, the CD is one Dedicated to the Blues, entitled "Your Heart To Mine". Now folks, I'll let you in on a little secret; even if you think you are not a blues fan, you will find something on this CD that you like. It has a little of everything, but over all, it is a marvelous CD. It has some of the most moving and beautiful (and yes, sad) music I have ever heard. If you get this CD, you will NOT be disappointed. And no, Bill is not paying me to say this. It's just that good, and I wanted other people to experience something they might not otherwise have been attracted to.

I couldn't believe what a great show these guys put on in the afternoon. For some really old guys they put on a real rock and roll show and I loved it. I love the fact they are the original guys and can still rock.

My husband and I went to see the show, last night. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire show. In fact, it is one of the best shows I have EVER SEEN! It has something for everyone...Nostalgia, Great Music, Awesome Band, and Hilarious Comedy by Paul Revere, himself.

My husband and I both highly recommend it and can't wait to see the other shows. We are especially looking forward to Gary Lewis and the Playboys.

Paul Revere & The Raiders/Bill Medley

IF you're a fan of the music from the 50s and 60s, this is THE best show you could ever attend. At 68, Paul looks like a 20-year old with his antics and presence on stage. The music (and comedy) is fantastic. Combine Paul Revere and the Raiders with Bill Medley on the bill and it is an evening you'll never forget. You will find yourself wanting to come back and see the show again and again.
