REVIEW: Celebration City

Written by jessfromok

My family and I went to Celebration City over the week and we had a lot of fun. The only thing I'm wondering about is where did they get all the Russian girls that work for them? They couldn't speak but a few words of English. Just about every ride and concession stand had a Russian chic there! :confused:

REVIEW: Celebration City

DD loved Celebration City. We ended up going all 3 days we were there(we were only going to go one afternoon). And DD is already saying I'm ready to go back to Branson and Celebration City. She rode several of the kiddie rides, played in the water, and played some games. I took some pictures of the City that I will post later.

Definately an Amusement Park

My husband, myself and our two teens visited Clelebration City earlier this week. The park is clean and well set up, tickets were fairly priced. The kids and my husband loved the entire experience. I don't do the rollercoasters or twirley rides and there weren't any slow or calm rides - no trains or boat rides here. We had hoped to play a round of miniature golf (free) or ride go-carts (also free), but the lines were very long. There is one show, but the show times weren't posted in the brochere (that we could see anyway), so we missed that as well. It is quite a different park than SDC. Much fewer food choices as well, but we give the pizza at Mickey's Pizza 5 stars. It was quite good. I was disappointed in the gift shops which were mostly souvenier-type stores, but they did have a lot of clearance priced items - ball caps at $1.88 and large Celebration City bears for just $2.88. The laser and light show were spectacular - not to be missed!

Don't expect your Celebration City experience to be a twin to Silver Dollar City's. This is a super park for kids and people who enjoy fast paced rides - not for those of us with motion sickness. :-)

A+++++
