i used to work here

I worked For BT Bones when it was still the "good Bones," we all remember and love! This was the BEST restraunt in town to eat at and to work at. What happened was, BT Bones changed ownership from one brother to the other brother. When Bob owned it (the good times) it was amazing! The band, (Neon Highway) was just awesome, the atsmophere, the food, the prices, there will never be anything like it in branson again. But the other brother took it from him in a long drawn out court battle. Now it's this pretentious, over priced, poor food quality, no dance floor place. The only people they will get to come in there and eat are the tourist who have never been there, and then will never come back. But they honestly think they have a 5 star restraunt down there. BT BONES was never ment to be that kind of place. It was ment to be the place we all remember and love! Bring back the free teasers! LOL! I miss that place!

We tried the place for the second time, and our last time. I don't like paying a lot of money for bad food

Worst place to eat in Branson, MO

My husband and I and our 2 kids went to Branson, MO over Labor day weekend, which coincides with our Anniversary, so on the date of our Anniversary we decided to go out for some Prime rib. We came upon the BT Bones Steakhouse and decided it looked like it had good steak! After waiting an hour to be sat, we were famished! We ordered right away after studying the menu for an hour outside, and ordered a huge appetizer which cost $18.00 and the largest prime rib they had which cost $25.00- we were going to all split it- our kids our 10 months old, and 6 years old- so there would be plenty. Our steak and appetizer came at the same time, and our appetizer consisted of 2 small potato boats, 4 jalapeño poppers, 6 fried pickles, and 4 cheese sticks, and 4 hot wings- This was it for $18.00!!!!! You’ve got to be kidding me!!! And then the steak……… half of it was grizzle, we cut the good half in half again and take a bite of the center and its ice cold!!! We tell our waitress, as my husband is about to puke from the taste of raw cold prime rib and she sends the manager- the manager is a 22 year old and comes over with an attitude that most 22 year olds have- and says “I’ll heat it up for ya” – yeah, that’s exactly what we want, a $25.00 steak that you take back and heat up in the microwave!! I tell him no thanks, and that we really just don’t want it- it was half grizzle and cold- plus you don’t get a salad or anything with it only two sides- old baked beans and a scoop of potatoes- which neither looked very tasteful. The manager says “I’ll give you half off,” and I tell him I’m not paying for this nasty steak- and he gets all defensive and says “Oh yes you are, I offered to make it right by heating it in the microwave!” I tell him if that’s how you want to do business, fine, and we just get up and get ready to leave, no use arguing with a 22 year old kid. We make sure and let all the tables around us know to not order the prime rib, and one table actually tells us “Oh we know, our waitress already told us that it’s horrible”------GREAT! Wish our waitress would have told us that. So please save your money and go somewhere else, this place is not only a tourist rip-off but has horrible food to boot. HEATHER- FROM SOUTH DAKOTA

Couldnt Wait to Leave

We ate there quite a few years ago. We enjoyed the experience, but not this last time. I guess they are trying to step up the menu (and the prices too!) I would much rather have a Bourbon Steak at Applebees, and not have to pay the high price for the Ho-Hum atmosphere. I was really disappionted with the food, service, and attitudes of the kids working there. Complete disrespect for their jobs and my dining experience is what it was. I was hoping to treat the family to something they would enjoy. I was wrong.

If It were possible to give this place a negative star rating I would!

gone down hill

I agree with last review. First 6 times I ate there over the years, it was my favorite choice in town. Last time I went is just that, the last time I will go.
I understand they got rid of the house band as well. They made up for any average meal you would have gotten. So if they are really gone then, don't waste your time.

So So

I ate at B-Tbones the first week it opened and I thought I had never eaten such good, tender and delicious steak in my life.

Since steak isn't a huge thing with me, I don't often crave it, so I hadn't gone back for many years, but still had good memories of the place.

This time around, it wasn't that great. Just a steak much like you could get at any of a dozen places in town. The entertainment was a guy singing country songs karaoke. In a town so full of wonderful musicians, don't you think they could at least find some entertainment where a guy can play a guitar and sing? Karaoke is so tacky for entertainment.

Overall, I can take it or leave it. It wouldn't be my first choice for steaks.
